The Complete F.I. Experience provides student filmmakers the opportunity to become a true independent film crew. Teams will shoot and edit a film in New York City over the course of 3 days.

Broadcast Journalism in New York City is super competitive, so we decided to join the fun! NYC is the # 1 media market in the nation with a constant flow of new stories on every topic imaginable. Teams are tasked with producing a 2 to 4 minute feature story on a subject, issue or person of your choice.

Following in the footsteps of classic one-room Hollywood movies such as, 12 Angry Men, Rear Window and Rope, teams in this competition will have 2 days to shoot and edit a 2 to 4 minute film that is completely shot in one room.

Witness the future of film in the heart of New York City! We will be screening all of our 2019 Official Selections at the AMC Theater in Times Square. Did your film make the cut? All Official Selections will be announced on July 22nd, 2019. A full screening schedule will be available closer to the event, a link to that schedule will be available here. For more information about our screenings please visit our event page

Screenings will take from from 9:30am to 12:00pm and from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday. From 12pm-2pm we will host the College Fair (AND FREE LUNCH) Once screenings resume the College Fair will continue until 4pm.

Photog Fest Exhibition

Photog Fest is the premier high school photography competition. All Official Selections will be exhibited at The Caelum Gallery in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. All Photog Fest Official Selections and winners in each submission category have been announced and are listed here. The winner of the Photographer Of The Year Award will be announced at the 2019 Teen Indie Awards on October 13th, 2019 at the Historic Kings Theater in Brooklyn. The Overall Winner will receive a scholarship to Minneapolis College of Art and Design for 4 years valued at $70,000!
