If your filmmaker was chosen as an Official Selection it means that their film(s) will screen at the AMC Theaters in Times Square (the busiest movie theater in America), that they will be eligible to win awards, and most importantly, that they are one of the best young filmmakers in the world! This is as big as it gets for high school filmmakers and many families attend the festival to celebrate their child’s achievement. We know that traveling to New York City can be a bit overwhelming, but don’t worry! We’re here to help. Below you will find an FAQ that specifically addresses questions parents often ask. We hope that this will help you when planning your festival experience. Of course, if you still have questions, you can email us at info@aahsff.com.
