If your team has been accepted your team leader should have received a confirmation email. Please note that your team is not officially registered until your team has submitted the registration fee. This is the BIG ONE! The Complete F.I. Experience provides student filmmakers the opportunity to become a true independent film crew. Over the course of the 10-week pre-production period participating teams will be responsible for every aspect of creating a short narrative film: ideation, script writing, location scouting, casting, shoot schedules and more. This preparation is designed to put teams in the best possible position to successfully shoot and edit their film in New York City over the course of 3 days.

Spring Training - an opportunity for team to learn from industry professionals and the AAHSFF team on what to expect and how to prepare for the F.I.
All films will be screened at the AMC in Times Square on Sunday October 7th 2018.

Prizing: Prize package to be valued at $5,000 for the winning film (updates to be announced throughout the year)
10 Week pre-production
You’ll have from 8am on Wednesday October 3rd to 4pm Friday October 5th to shoot and edit your film. (56 Hours)
Each team will be given the opportunity to have an editing station (table chairs and power supply) at the F. I. Headquarters at the Sheraton Times Square. You are required to opt in to the HQ by Tuesday September 4th 2018.
Team’s are responsible for providing their own filming and editing equipment.
All teams are required to have an adult chaperone/mentor
Maximum number of participating teams: 50
There is a $40 non-refundable processing fee per team member due by June 15th 2018.
Films will be judged and winners will be announced live at the 2018 Teen Indie Awards on Sunday October 7th 2018 at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
All Films will be available on our YouTube page following the announcement of the winners.
